Eight members of the Toronto Unicyclists will be heading out to Nova Scotia for the June 16th start of the Ride the Lobster race. The event is a first of its kind for the unicycle community and will see teams of 3 riders pedaling a grueling 800KM over the 5 day event. A total of 35 teams from around the World will be vying for $10,000 in prize money.

There are lots of changes and more to come, but here is just a selection of the hilights:

• Event Calendar which includes club practice and organized ride information. It's a public Google Calendar, so adding it to your own calendar is easy and seemless.
• Newflashes on the home page to alert you to of practice cancellations and changes.
  
• Club Member Only section which includes member profiles, club roster, forums for organizing rides, the ability to submit news plus more to come in the future. Club members will receive username/password information shortly.
  
• Photo Gallery through the Toronto Unicyclists private Flickr group. If you are already a Flickr user be sure to request membership to the group in order to begin posting your unicycling pictures. Not a Flickr user, sign up here FREE!
• Unicycle Link Directory to online resources around the World. Members can submit there own favourite links.
